Salary: £45 to 50k pa depending on experience

Reporting to: Executive Director

Location: Hybrid with regular in-person meetings and events in London and occasionally across the UK

Contract: Permanent – Full-time

Role Summary

We have grown from nine seed funders in 2021 to one hundred members in our invitation-only Funder Network today who contribute both financially and through their own skills to the development of our ventures. Funders receive quarterly reports on the progress of our ventures, access to events linked to Islam and Muslims in the UK, and opportunities to connect with other funders in our unique funder community. The Funder Network is in turn part of Funders In Good’s wider community which includes the team itself, as well as the venture leaders we back. 

As the Head of Funder Community, your role will be to accelerate the growth of the Funder Network through developing and communicating the strong value proposition of being a part of Funders In Good. You will establish relationships with key organisations and networks to develop funnels for acquisition of new funders, both individuals, as well as organisations. Your fundraising results will facilitate Funders In Good to expand the scale of its work. You will also encourage retention of existing funders by effectively communicating the progress and achievements of Funders In Good, as well as curating activities, events, and other touchpoints to bring real value to their membership. As the main point of engagement with our funders, you will establish and develop meaningful relationships to understand their needs and develop our offering accordingly. You will achieve all of this through building a community of members united behind our common vision.
