Mentor Requirements:

Venture leaders will be matched with experienced sector leaders and subject specialists to provide strategic support and guidance through one-to-one sessions.

We are looking for mentors with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Not-for-profit/charity sector
Setting up, scaling up or working in a social venture
Expertise in organisational leadership, strategy, finance and/or operations
Mentorship, teaching or line management
Willingness to support and help venture leaders grow
Can attend monthly one-to-one sessions with mentee

Frequently Asked Questions

1/ What time commitment does mentoring require?

We ask for a commitment of a minimum of 12 hours across the programme, with mentors meeting their mentees monthly for one-to-one sessions. This can be in-person or online. You may decide with your mentee to meet more often.

2/ What training will be provided?

If selected as a mentor, we will invite you to an information session providing you with all the necessary details needed to start your mentoring journey.

3/ What is expected of mentors?

We expect mentors to provide support and strategic advice to mentees by drawing on their own experiences. Mentors will be championing venture leader's growth by helping to develop their skillset during their time on the programme.
